Limitations with Transcription Connector

When you work with Transcription Connector in Genesys Cloud, consider these limitations:

  • Genesys Cloud supports up to 10 different Transcription Connector integrations. This limitation is not configurable by your organization.

  • Transcription Connector does not support recording-based transcription, for premises-based Edge (LDM) customers.

  • Transcription Connector does not support Agent Assist. 

  • If an unsupported language is used, speech and text analytics may not work properly.

  • Transcription Connector streams to both internal and external channels (IVR and agent), customers cannot choose which channel they can stream for a particular integration.

  • Transcription Connector is not supported under BYOC Premises.
